Tarra Eshgh, CMCA, AMS, PCAM

Tarra Eshgh is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ST&R Portfolio Management, a full-service condominium and homeowners association (HOA) management firm established in March 2015. With more than a decade of hands-on experience in community association management, Tarra is widely respected for her leadership, operational expertise, and commitment to professional excellence in the HOA industry.

Originally from California, Tarra spent part of her early life in Thailand before settling in Seattle, where she continues to lead ST&R’s strategic growth across Washington, Idaho, and Utah. Her global background and exposure to diverse communities have shaped her people-first approach to managing residential associations, portfolios, and mixed-use developments.

Raised in a family-owned business in Bellevue, Tarra developed an entrepreneurial mindset early on. She earned her degree in Global Studies with a minor in Policy Studies from the University of Washington, where she built a strong foundation in governance, compliance, and organizational leadership—skills that directly support effective HOA and condominium management today.

Following graduation, Tarra began her professional career with one of Washington State’s largest community association management companies. During this time, she gained extensive experience overseeing HOA operations, financial management, vendor coordination, board governance, and regulatory compliance. What began as preparation for law school evolved into a clear calling: leading and elevating community association management through a client-focused, accountable, and service-driven model.

As a dedicated community association management professional, Tarra holds the industry’s highest credentials:

• Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA)
• Association Management Specialist (AMS) 
• Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM)

These designations reflect her commitment to ethical leadership, continuing education, and best-in-class service for HOA boards, condominium associations, and homeowners.

Under Tarra’s leadership, ST&R Portfolio Management delivers comprehensive HOA and condominium management services, including strategic board support, financial oversight, vendor management, compliance guidance, and community operations—tailored to the unique needs of each association.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Tarra is a devoted pet owner to two dogs—a Pomeranian and an Australian Shepherd—and enjoys a fulfilling life with her spouse, whom she met in the industry. She values maintaining a healthy work-life balance by spending quality time with family and friends, indulging in her passion for reading and collecting books, traveling abroad for vacations, and enjoying what she fondly refers to as "shopping therapy."
